Many central stations have a direct Internet communication to Alula, while others that do not will utilize dial-up communications to the central station’s alarm receiver. However, if the installation is in a building that is blocking cellular signal or in a remote location where cellular signal is weak, the remote antenna may be necessary. Q: Do I need to order the external antenna?Ī: Most installations do not require an external antenna.
